Choosing a driving instructor can be a difficult decision! Here at Drive-Smart, we always try to offer the highest standard of customer care, value for money and professional driver training.
We monitor our pass rates using the official DSA figures. We dont just claim "High pass rates", we publish our figures each year. The latest set of records for the year ending on 31st March 2007, show that once again we achieve significantly higher pass rates than both the National and Local averages. Our clients also pass with fewer faults than average and That's official .
Whatever your requirements, we aim to provide you with a structured learning regime which will cover ALL aspects of the DSA’s official curriculum for driving instruction and prepare you to take your driving test.
Although a planned and structured approach to learning is implemented, at Drive-Smart we appreciate that people come to us with differing requirements, from the complete novice, to those with some previous driving experience. Therefore, a flexible training regime is adopted to suit the individual requirements of all clients. Should you ever feel that we could adapt our training in anyway to better suit your own needs, all you need to do is tell us. This is NOT like being at school, here, YOU ARE THE BOSS!

Lesson Prices
Lesson structure.
The 2 hour lesson will always begin in the car with a short re-cap on the previous session. If any study tasks have be assigned, these will be assessed at this time. There will then follow a short briefing on the current session aims and objectives. These initial few minutes in-car not only allow you to settle into the vehicle but also allow time to raise any points or questions you may have. The driving session will then commence with you at the controls.
Occasionally parts of a driving lesson may be video recorded for your own training purposes. This is used to illustrate any habitual faults that might be developing. These recordings are shown to you and discussed during the lesson. They are not shown to anyone else. Don't worry, you'll not end up on Youtube!! ( If its really funny, then we would sent it to "You've been framed" for the "£250)!
If you object to any video recording taking place, please let us know at the outset and we will not use this facility.

Lesson Times
We are available for lessons 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. This is because we believe that you should experience driving at any time. From a quiet Sunday morning to a busy Friday afternoon rush hour. Even night time driving is covered. But don't worry, we wont put you into driving situatiuons you are not ready for.
We never forget you are the boss, so our duty is to schedual our lessons to best suit your needs.
We will pick you up from home,work,school or wherever and finish the lesson in a different area, if that's what you want. It's not a problem.
